Humility is not an easy topic to teach children because it goes against our natural human impulses. We want to be ‘first’ and ‘right’…all the time! But the Bible tells us that we need to have the same attitude as Jesus; He was so humble, that He put aside His own rights as God to become a human. He knew that we needed His help and He didn’t hesitate to provide it.

James 4:10

Philippians 2:3-4, NLT – “Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.”
